Easily moved, easily grounded

This book was unique in 2 ways.

1 - Its the only audio book that I finished and immediately started over. I've listened to many books more than once, but never twice in a row. If I could use the whole book as a mantra I would.

2 - I ordered and I am now working through all of the support material listed in the book. I have NEVER done this with any book or audio book.

This story is told with a vulnerability that is missing in so many Christian texts. Meggan Watterson brings us on her journey one vulnerable step at a time. She makes it safe for you to explore your own emotions while she journeys through the paradox of traveling long distances to find something that has always been inside of you.

This book spoke to me on so many levels! And I love how the author was the one to narrate the book. I am so grateful to have stumbled across this masterpiece. I recommend this book to anyone needing to tap into their femininity! All the women written about in this book will spark something in you!

Engaging journey along with author

I really loved this story and resonated so deeply with many of the trials and tribulations along the way to discovering the truth of Magdalene and oneself. Many of my own suspicions were confirmed in her research.

I enjoyed this book so much. I was held and seen and my heart wept in agreement.

Interesting and thought provoking

I read this book with my girls group book club and it was very insightful. It took me a while to get through it because I had to re-listen to chapters. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a holistic perspective on the history of women in biblical times. Take her perspective with a grain of salt.
