Not really a thriller

Although I think he is one of our best writers today, is not yet in the thriller category. The plot, although nothing new about it, was interesting, but no characters were developed, the narrator told us the story, and there were surprises, there was no suspense. It read like a first book from a writer who would develop into a great writer.

Narrator was terrific

Stop always asking for a written review. I’ve checked all the boxes and that seems sufficient.

When’s the next book coming out? This was so great.

Totally interesting keeps you wanting to listen. Please do write another one like this. I’ll be looking forward to it.

Another hit for Grisham

Would love to see a movie or Netflix series on this one ! Great twists and turns and good narration -

Typical of John Grisham. Intriguing story with unexpected plot twist. I also enjoyed the reader’s voice.
