Three volumes in a single offering!

Ever wished a portal would open up and swallow you? Don’t. Trust me.

Slinging hotdogs may not be the most glorious side gig, but hey, if it paid for college, that’s all Emma could ask for. And let’s be real, of all the crowds in the world, what were the odds that Comic-Con would get Portalled next?

Emma really should’ve known better. Once again, the universe conspires against her, and now she’s stuck in a world where the laws of physics don’t seem to apply, and even the grass is trying to kill her. She better pay close heed to the Artificial Intelligence guiding her and make some new friends fast, because out here, it’s thrive or die.

And no amount of videogames prepared her for a world where you can actually gain Skills and level up. Or to face a series of trials that seem designed to kill her rather than teach her how to survive... What could possibly be the real goal of the mysterious ‘predecessors’ that built them?

I'm literally not attracted to stories of same gender intimate relationships. I understand the philosophy and am intrigued by the premise, but I'm one of those people who likes to imagine myself in the role of the main character. I just can't do that if the author puts the main character into situations that I'm uncomfortable with.

It's about as hard to put up with as stories that describe the main chapter as humble or low-key and then has them constantly behaving contrary to the character profile.

Yay, the low-key rich guy in hiding, is attending an upper class party in jeans and a t-shirt. Way to have every eye upon you mr. low-key.

It could be better

Another story of continuous bad things happening to the characters due to their own foolishness. Some of the story is good when the MC is being foolish.

When this first started, I didn’t think that I would enjoy it but it soon had me wrapped up in the story. I will be watching for Book Four!!

Quite a rush and heart stopping story

At the beginning of the story, you really don’t know how to take the MC. As the story unfolds and the MC sharts gaining in stats we are seen as aspects of her character and how they evolve. Also, if you’re a person that like stats and how they are calculated in work, this is definitely your cup of tea. And some books, the stats get overwhelming and get in way of the story but the author does it in a way that does not impede or annoy you as the story develops. I did enjoy the VA and think they did a great job. I also liked the sound effects of the crystal chimes. I thought that it did add to the story.

This story starts slow but don’t let that fool you

The premise of the story is what grabbed me. odd physics, toxic air, wormhole etc.. The main character starts complaining she's bored. Later she meets a group and we find she's gay. Not an issue. Yet the one thing I appreciate about this kind of books is the lack of romance and that 3rd book made me wanna barf. Too much... if I wanted love I would have read ACOTAR... The Narrator did well but her voices sometimes were the same for several characters and that confused me at times. I want my credit back.

Not Good
