I loved the strength in the main character.

Throughout the story I couldn't help but cheer for the main characters development and get excited as she learned to wield her anger.

Absolutely loved the plot and performance! I can’t wait to listen to the rest of the series!!

I loved it! Unique story, strong believable characters and fun little twists. A little predictable but not offensively.

The current narration presents a challenge, as the delivery style, reminiscent of a textbook, diminishes the immersive experience and fails to fully capture the narrative's essence, potentially impacting the overall appreciation of the material.

Loved the story...not the audio quality

The audio quality of the female lead left something to be desired. It is often enough interrupted by back round noises such as doors closing, sirens and cars driving by, and random bangs, and while it's not constant, it is frequent enough to pull you out of story at some frustrating moments.

The story itself is great and I immediately went straight to the next book.

Hilarious and beautifully dramatic

It really pops off when she arrives at the boys academy but I love the whole book! The writing is really good and the inclusivity is heartwarming and really enriches the characters and story.

amazing story lousy narration

I love this story so much that even though I cannot stand the female narrator and her long awkward pauses I have to buy book two. The main character is strong and brave. She's young and naive but keeps going. Her character evolves quickly in the face of new information and that is wondrous. I also dig the feminist edge as it is needed in the world in general anyway. The world building is fabulous.

Stellar Book!

This is at least the second time I’ve listened to this book on audio, and I’m finally writing a review. This world building is absolutely top notch, with a truly creative story that will keep you utterly enthralled. The chemistry between the characters is phenomenal, with a slow slow slow build that feels just perfect for the characters.
The male narrator does a great job, and I like the female narrator as well—though there were several moments where there were oddly long pauses in her reading. Long enough to make me question if I had actually accidentally paused the book. All things considered, that’s a minor inconvenience. She read her parts with incredible emotion.
Overall, this is definitely a favorite book, and one I have, and will continue to, reread!

Loved loved loved!

The story was rich and so entertaining. It was nice to have a heroine who was tstl or annoying. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The voice actors were great and very believable. Their voices for the opposite sex weren't bad either. Great audible book, highly recommend. Now to listen to the next and see what happens.
