Publisher's summary

The future sometimes needs help.

Evaran and his gang receive summons to AD 514,723, approximately 200 years before Earth is repopulated and becomes the seat of a galaxy-spanning empire. The problem is that the process has not been started on Earth.

To make matters worse, a threat from beyond this reality has been attacking the galaxy. Evaran and his crew meet the Orions, an advanced civilization that has also been a victim of this new threat.

Evaran and his crew are joined by Dr. James Bryson and Kess, an Orion. Together, they will need to deal with this threat and kick-start the unification of humanity with Earth as the center.

Loved the killer clowns!

4 Blue Roses
Genre: Young Adult, Science Fiction, Time Travel
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Narrator Michael Pauley delivered a fun action filled science-fiction experience. I could hear he enjoyed performing this story. His evil laugh for the killer clowns was funny as,,, well,, as evil clowns can be. His execution of the different voices for the futurism characters was done so well, it felt like I was listening to a multicast of narrators. The author/narrator duo was nothing else than perfection.
Book 9 was the first book I listened to in this series and I was able to pick up the plot easily. It pulled me into the creative wonder of time travel. To me it's the american version of Dr. Who.

It is original and I appreciated the detail to science fiction jargon. The world building and character building carried my imagination far into the future. The book was clearly written for audiobook production. I was able to listen to this book in one sitting. I will definitely look for more books written by Adair Hart.

I recommend this audiobook for science fiction fans, who likes time travel with some humor sprinkled on top.

Hart and Pauley do it again!

The Evaran Chronicles is a light and fun adventure series. So far I have found that each story stands alone even though this truly is one continuous adventure. I have not yet listened to all the books but have finished more than half of them. Since The Unification is the latest in the series, it is obvious that I have not listened to them all in order. I do think it is best to listen in order so that you are up to date on who is who and what each person’s skills and abilities are as that does change both up and down throughout the series due to events in each story.

Adair Hart has created a future history of our world that grows and changes as his characters move through the timeline fixing errors that have occurred due to outside influence. He has created very well developed characters with specific personalities and rules they live by.

Michael Pauley has given voice to this entire series so far and the series is better for it. He does an excellent job with different characters both male and female and is consistent with each character.

If you are looking for a fun listen with just enough series content to really keep it interesting then you really can’t get much better than The Evaran Chronicles.
