A weak soul must not cultivate. Madness consumes the weak of mind. Eternal servitude awaits the weak of heart.

Su Fang arrives in a realm of cultivation unprepared—no skills, no knowledge, and no backing. Like everyone else in this new world, he is given a blessing from the Heavenly Dao to help him success, but Su Fang's blessing isn’t power over the elements or mastery of profound arts. No, it takes a brutal lesson to teach him that he’s been ‘blessed’ with repetition.

Every time he dies, he returns to the moment of his arrival. The young cultivator uses each reset to grind skills, refine his inner essence, and empower his very soul, using only the memories of countless failures. Each death is another lesson, each life another chance. Yet the world is ruthless, and time alone won’t be enough for Su Fang to make his mark; especially when every reset washes away not only his mistakes, but his triumphs.

In a land where even the strong perish, his fate is clear: he’s an immortal destined to die. Over and over.

I was already following the story before it got officially published, and was super excited to experience it as an audiobook (the narration was genuinely great. Really love how the narrator was able to convey the placid obstinance of the System, and the frustration the main character has with it), but it's the subtle edits and improvements to the story that took this from "it's a series that starts good but gets great in book 3" to "it's great from the get-go!" Really excited for the release of future volumes. So glad that it's this book that finally convinced me to get an audible subscription lol.

omg it's even better than I expected!!

If you are looking foe a good Grinding novel with solid, and well written introspection, this is for you.
Downside, any growth is directly attained from the system and aside from a vauge understanding that MC got "better," it really doesn't correspond to any actual change in the story.

Really in depth explanation of cultivation and alchemy

It’s the narrator. Daniel is great, but why is he so dramatic. It makes me cringe. Especially when the MC is struggling emotionally. They just sound pathetic.

Other than that, I like his narration. But it really is annoying, Just sayin… anyway the author did great, I love the pure cultivation time loop.

I love the book, there’s just one problem…
