Army veteran Lee Riker is staying in an Atlanta shelter and supporting himself with the odd carpentry job when his sister, Tara, summons him home to Indiana for the reading of their mother’s will. Riker boards a Greyhound bus in Atlanta with his duffel bag, less than $200 to his name, and a secret he must protect at all costs. Riker makes it to Middletown only to learn his sister has recently witnessed a gruesome death. Gut wrenching
This was a gut wrenching experience as our beloved characters go through a terrible situation. A good but painful story. If certain situations had transpired I might have given up on the series but the authour reigned it in before it went too far. This was a great listen and Joe Jameson narration is awesome and never disappoints.

Wow! Just wow. Joe Jameson is an absolutely terrific narrator, the passion he injects really brings the story to life. Yet another day in the world of the Undead that had me laughing and crying. Simply amazing, possibly my favourite one yet (although Day 20/ Part 16 was pretty awesome too, but it’s this one that Joe Jameson really comes to life)

It just gets better and better!
This series is incredible. When the new narrator started a while back, I became hesitant but he has proved to be twice as good as the original narrator.
The biggest plus to this series is the laughs that come with it and the character development throughout.
I wish these would be released a little faster!!
I'll probably have to listen to them all from the start again just to rekindle my love for this series.
I recommend this to anyone with common sense.

Another amazing book by Mr Haywood
The best series I ever read! I don't want it to end, it is just brilliant.
It's a complete emotional rollercoaster, especially this book, I found myself hating this book and being so cross at what was happening, then laughing and crying like a baby. This was the most emotional one yet for me!
The narrator's ability to take on constant new characters and accents is brilliant as well.
You have to get this series! You won't regret it!

I have never been so entwined in a book. Laughed so hard and cried with sadness. Absolutely addicted to The Undead. I can’t believe I would read, as well as re-listen, to this many books in a series.
Very well written, and love Joes narration. If this is your first Undead book, stop immediately and listen to the first one. You won’t be disappointed!
