I thought the meal plans would truly be simple.

I thought the meal plans would truly be simple, they require more ingredients than should be categorized under the term simple. Single people, with full time jobs and long commutes to where affordable housing is don't have time to sit down and make involved meal plans. It's too complicated and you get that sense after looking over the meal plans.

All-In-One Resource

This is a science book, nutrition book, and cook book all in one; an excellent resource for your keto journey. This book has not only the "why" but also the "how" for every single aspect of your diet and therefore this is the only book you need to get started and forge ahead with confidence. The recipes are easy to follow and prepare generally within half an hour. Then, she encourages you to customize your diet so that you can build a sustainable plan that fits your unique needs.

Lots of wonderful info to sort through.

Lots of wonderful info to sort through. Working my way through it slowly. Looks very helpful so far. More info than another beginner's book I purchased. Recipes look so good, too! So many paths to help choose the right one for lifestyle and goals and sample meal and shopping plans...I also spot explanations on issues than can occur with keto, travelling and shopping guides as well. Looking forward to getting help from this book in making this huge lifestyle change!

good thinking about keto diet.

If you are thinking about trying a ketogenic diet- start here! This book is very well written and the recipes are easy to follow. Everything I've cooked from this book has been delicious, even the non-keto folks in the house have raved about the food.

This book is a game changer!

This book is a game changer! Upon the supervision of a nutritionist, I started a standard keto diet. After a few months, I lost some weight, but was feeling horrible: tired, depressed. Then I picked up this book.

This is a good resource for ketogenic diet.

This is a good resource for someone looking into Keto, to see if it’s right for you. I love this book. It explains in detail how keto works, what to do and not do and why, gives great meal plans and recipes. For someone such as myself who had NO idea where to begin, this book was a life saver!

Packed with details & recipes.

This is a very thorough book for somebody wanting to take a look at the ketogenic diet. The author brings a unique personal perspective and discusses some of her own challenges along the way. There are numerous aspects of the ketogenic diet as well as nutrition packed into the book, from customizing to particular ketos diets to supplements, ingredients, and where to shop.

Enjoy eating.

For anybody interested in the Keto diet, this is the one and only book I'd recommend. It's beautiful, informative, sensical, well organized and provides a clear path to understanding your body and the miracle of ketosis. For me, it seems like it provided an escape to normality. I've been relieved of the stress of dieting. I no longer count calories, never feel deprived, never eat crappy food and am losing excess weight. I think I've actually discovered a more natural lifestyle that I can do for the rest of my life.

Wow!


The Keto way of eating is an amazing way to get healthy, lose weight and stop feeling like you are a slave to food. She helps you tailor the diet to your needs, hormonally, exercise wise , size, goals etc... It turns out there are many ways to be in ketosis.

Fully satisfied.

This is an excellent book. It's packed with information and provides great variations to customize choices to your body type. I really appreciate the advice specific to women regarding natural hormonal fluctuation. I disagree with those who have said it's not a great book for Keto beginners. I think it's perfect for that audience (myself included). The author details the nutritional science in a really approachable way.

This book is amazing!

This book is amazing! Easy to understand. The first half of the book is her helping you to learn more about the ketogenic diet, the science behind it, types of fats, and all sorts of helpful things. They have all been delicious too, even for someone starting keto for the first time. I really appreciated the science in this book. There are meal plans as well which can be really helpful when you first start this kind of diet. I would definitely recommend it.

Even though book lacked many recipe.

Even though book lacked many recipe, it provided easy to follow recipes. The author was informative and had a strong knowledge on Keto. I loved the many substitutions for recipes and ways to cook the meals.

I think this is a great book.

I think this is a great book to start the ketogenic diet. It has a lot of useful information and a lot of delicious recipes. I started the ketogenic diet about 2 weeks ago using the recipes and I have lost 7 lbs. I feel better and have more energy than I did before I started this way of eating. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the ketogenic live style.

Great ketogenic meal plan.

This book is the only book you'll need for the Keto plan. Great recipes and there are so many of them. My family eats and lives these recipes even though they are not following this program.
