Publisher's Summary

In his penultimate adventure, a devastated but determined Apollo travels to Camp Jupiter, where he must learn what it is to be a hero, or die trying.

It's not easy being Apollo, especially when you've been turned into a human and banished from Olympus. On his path to restoring five ancient oracles and reclaiming his godly powers, Apollo (a.k.a. Lester Papadopoulos) has faced both triumphs and tragedies. Now, his journey takes him to Camp Jupiter in the San Francisco Bay Area, where the Roman demigods are preparing for a desperate last stand against the evil Triumvirate of Roman emperors. Hazel, Reyna, Frank, Tyson, Ella, and many other old friends will need Apollo's aid to survive the onslaught. Unfortunately, the answer to their salvation lies in the forgotten tomb of a Roman ruler...someone even worse than the emperors Apollo has already faced.

great experience

Robbie Daymond is, as always, the PERFECT Lester/Apollo. I found myself laughing a lot, too.

Uncle Rick Strikes Again

If you enjoy Rick's other work you will definitely enjoy this story. The whole Trials of Apollo series has such great character arcs and really helps close out the Heros of Olympus series. The voice acting really enhances the story and is a pleasure to listen to

Excellent yet again!

The story was amazing as always and the narrator really brought it to life. I truly enjoy Rick Riordan’s storytelling and this is yet another great read for young adults and grownups too!

Driving & Crying - Phew! That was a close one.

Rick Riordan you had me crying in traffic once again, as if traffic alone doesn’t make me sad enough on my hour-long commute each morning. I’m glad the sadness didn’t keep me from finishing the book or I would’ve missed the good stuff.

Don’t know how to bring a mistake to someone’s attention, but when Rayna is talking about her past she says Calypso’s Island instead of Circe. Oops!

I don’t know why anyone would have a problem with Robbie Daymond - I think he’s great and I’m enjoying his reading very much.

tyrants tomb review

I thought the story line was excellent. The only problems that I had while listening to the book was that some words were not pronounced the same as in previous stories. it was very annoying. also different characters voices were very different, ex. Frank's voice and his last name and title being pronounced differently. I hope they fix that in next book.

Great I loved every bit of it sorta sad though

But hey no spoilers he’s a sentimental DemiDemigod so all is well that ends well (I’m not sure if I used that right).

Amazing!

Felt a bit slower paced than The Burning Maze, but made up for it in the end! Robbie Daymond is an amazing narrator, can’t wait for the final book!
