Publisher's Summary

The fifth and final installment of the number one New York Times best-selling Trials of Apollo series has Lester and Meg returning to where it all began: Camp Half-Blood.

At last, the breathtaking, action-packed finale of the number one best-selling Trials of Apollo series is here! Will the Greek god Apollo, cast down to earth in the pathetic moral form of a teenager named Lester Papadopoulos, finally regain his place on Mount Olympus?

Lester's demigod friends at Camp Jupiter just helped him survive attacks from bloodthirsty ghouls, an evil Roman king and his army of the undead, and the lethal emperors Caligula and Commodus. Now the former god and his demigod master Meg must follow a prophecy uncovered by Ella the harpy. Lester's final challenge will be at the Tower of Nero, back in New York.

Will Meg have a last showdown with her father? Will this helpless form of Apollo have to face his arch nemesis, Python? Who will be on hand at Camp Half-Blood to assist? These questions and more will be answered in this book that all demigods are eagerly awaiting.

Absolutely excellent ending for the CHBC

I don’t know what to say. At 22 years old, and 14 of those years being an avid and bear obsessive fan of Rick Riordan’s works, I am at a loss to explain the absolute hailstorm of emotions I’m having right now, at the end of the Camp Half-Blood Chronicles. All I can say with out spoilers is just wow. I am sitting in my bed, crying as I write this. Thank you Rick for being a man with such amazing stories. Not many authors can say that their books will follow their readers through childhood to adolescence, to adulthood. But in my case I can say that these characters have truly been the best parts of my life. It’s like watching a sibling grow up before your eyes and then move away to college. Rick, thank you for your stories. They will forever be a part of my life, and always in my heart. Thank you.

A full original

Rick Riordan does it again. A fully entertaining book. The readers voice is as pleasant as ever. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves fantasy and adventure. Apollo fights Nero and cuts his faucets, but will he be able to defeat Python? That is for YOU to find out. I am again thrilled by Riordan's fantasies.

could be a little longer

I enjoyed the story but it ended way too soon. I feel it could had more depth. But I'm just an old man and this is a book for kids.

Another great story

Another great story from Uncle Rick. This is said to be the final book, yet he leaves a cliffhanger ending of sorts. Love that we see more of some lesser but favorite characters. Also looks like he took popular head canons from his fan base and made them canon, which was totally awesome!

Python is the true enemy

Rick Riordan’s message of Python’s wickedness reveals his true love for object oriented programming languages. Perfect.

Love this narrator!

The narrator's voice over made the trials of apollo books the best books to listen to in the percy jackson universe! his acting, the voices, the emotions, the humor, he portrayed it all perfectly. Now if only the other percy jackson arcs can be rejoiced lol

Myths and characters Brought to life.

From Greece and Tome to Egypt and the Norse expanse, Rick Riordan's writing takes a deep dive into every nook and cranny of a mythos and drags it to the surface of today with such stark clarity that entertainment and learning fuse together in a rollercoaster of reading. His portrayal of the monsters, the myths, and the men of the greek and roman histories blended into present day are immaculate, interesting, and educational enough to spark the interest of a whole new generation of historians. As for Robbie, without a proper voice for these characters it would not be HALF AS INTERESTING to listen to. He brings the voices in your head for each character out for everyone to hear. He is a gem and a wonderful reader and voice to listen to and i can't wait to hear more from him in the future.

Wonderful story! Great narration!

Perfect for preteens to adults! I have listed to all of Rick Riordan's stories and he never fails to delight with his rich characters and exciting connection to mythology. I highly recommend the entire Apollo series. You won't be disappointed.
