A telephone call to the local veterinarian's office breaks the peace of Alderney Island.

After several reports of injured animals in rapid succession, vet Jenny sets out to examine what might be causing the injuries.

The positive, the narrator did a great job, I get so used to some readers that I often have issues adjusting to new ones when I switch series, but this time has no hours to get used to like normal

The story, is a bit slow, maybe I am just not an animal lover enough. Slow start.
