I didn’t really enjoy the first book it was OK nothing to talk about I wish it was just a little bit better

Excellent series. Very entertaining.

Great series very interesting. Addictive and suspenseful. Strong characters. Was easy to hate Cassandra and want Mortlake and Tara to succeed.

Stalking Monsters

Great start to this series!!

Wolfsbane:
Ohh, the beginning of this series is FABULOUS! Tara, a young student, is not sure how things could go so wrong, but they did. With the death of her boyfriend, she is not sure who to turn to. Help comes in the form of a professor, and together, they are on the hunt for the strange creatures and the people behind the attack.

Horror greatness here ya'll. I enjoyed this one!

Keep the lights on

If you like surprises and twists with your monsters this is the series. It's like working the case with the characters so you're definitely ALL IN. The classic nightmare stars are waiting for you in here but not quite the way you may remember. I live in the country where there are no street lights. I'd recommend keeping a light on before delving too far into Mortlake's world. It's a GREAT series of stories that makes you eager to keep going.

Pleasantly surprised

So, I was a little worried when vampires and werewolves mad an appearance. Not usually what I'm into. However, I stuck it out and gave it a chance. The story was actually very well written and imaginative.
A college student thrust into the supernatural world when her boyfriend is killed by a werewolf. She teams up with a college professor and together they battle the supernatural but for her it may not be as new as she wants people to believe. I do recommend this series. It\s an entertaining read.

Enjoyable Series

This collection of David Langhorn’s Mortlake Series Books 1-3 is unusual. Werewolves, ghosts, a ghost busting English professor, what a yarn!

The first book “Wolfsbane” was pretty fast action from the start. Werewolves right off, and grisly killings…and not the conventional werewolf story either.

The second book “House of Whispers” is of ghosts. Pretty creepy, a little standard fare, but I found it to be an enjoyable read. This book builds on some of the concepts from book one.

The third book “Blood Lust” was a wow for me. The past comes to the present, and Professor Mortlake takes more than one for the team. This story builds on the elements from the first two books, and I wonder if Mortlake appears in a standalone book. I guess I will have to check it out as the backstory sounds very interesting.

I truly enjoyed this series (I inadvertently Books 5 & 6 first), so these three wrapped up all of my questions.

It is definitely worth a credit,.

I was given this advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review and I'm willingly leaving one. From the beginning I was glued I went from heart pounding in my throat to anger and shock. great narration can't go wrong loved it.

Absolutely love this series!

This is yet another series that I absolutely love! What makes this better is, it’s a collection, so I don’t have to go figure out what book comes next. I can read them without having to switch books when a title is over, because you get three in one. I highly recommend the series, and pretty much all Scare Street books.
