Home Is A Feeling and A Place

I loved everything about this book. The stories, the history, the recipes, the lessons. This book will resonate with anyone who has spent time with family in “the country,” or has been away from the place you called home growing up. It brought back so many memories of my time with my grandparents growing up. I went through all the emotions in this book and it made me miss my Grandnana too. Highly recommend.

I love this book the history, the love story it gripped me from the very first sentence all the way to the very end well written.🙌🏾

Home is where the heart is

Really enjoyed this book. Rhonda McKnight know show to use her craft to pen a story that leaves you inspired and entertained. I enjoyed following along Casey’s journey to self-discovery. Although I wanted more from these characters, Rhonda gave us enough to keep us thinking about them long after finishing the book. Kudos for a wonderful story.

Loved the historical figures

This was an enjoyable story and the characters were believable! I almost stopped in the first couple of chapters bc Cassie was a bit too self absorbed for my taste but I'm glad I stuck it out because she turned out to be a really likeable character. The flavor of history added to the depth of the story and tugged at my heart strings. Living with regrets is a heavy burden and this story sheds light on this fact while encouraging readers to make better choices.

Loved It

The story line was amazing and urban. It was relatable to the new digital age along with a great romance aspect to it. If you need a escape I strongly recommend this book.

I Loved the Book

I am so sick so much, especially how the old could impact the future or may I say the present. The characters were amazing. The only thing I wish that husband could’ve got what he deserved. I wish there was another book to go with this.

The thing about home

This was a great, lighthearted story about a black woman returning to her roots. The story was beautifully written and I noticed similarities in my own family history.

Rhonda McKnight in The Thing About Home gave me all the feels! This book is a cozy, feel good, blanket and hot tea favorite that everyone will love! I can see me reading this again just to simply, “feel home”.
