Hmmm…can’t decide how much I liked it

I can’t decide how much I like this book or not. I found myself listening to it at 2.0 speed about halfway through. I actually thought there might be some sort of fantasy element eventually, but nope…not that it needed that for me to like or dislike. I used a credit…wished it was available via Libby or Hoopla! However,, I wanted to listen to it prior to watching the movie..🤷🏻‍♀️

I like everything in it, even the things I don't and it made the story even more enchanting.

The characters background story

I loved the background story however disliked hoe everything seemed to be about Rigel. Also a little to cheesy.

The smooth way the narrator told the story.

I saw the movie first, and thought it was missing things. I then went to see if there was a book, and wala here it is. I loved Nica and Rigle's story. I will be reading and listening to this book again.

A Hauntingly Beautiful Story

A beautiful story, well written. I watched the netflix version and it left so many details out I had to read/listen to the book. It was hauntingly beautiful.
