I couldn’t have predicted that.

The story went a completely different way than I expected. I was thrown off that the last several chapters repeated at the end. Love the narrator.

Such an interesting story

I love this feeling of an unreliable narrator. The gothic ambience and the creeping garden are the perfect setting. The author does a great job of conveying the anxiety of not being comfortable in your own skin.

I loved absolutely everything about this. I'm feral for it. I want to get a physical book, tear out the pages, and devour them as I listen to the audiobook again. The narrator is fantastic as always, and the story - ugh, absolute horrible perfection.

A great twist!

So much in one little book. I love the intensity of the characters and the so called amnesia parts where Evander cannot remember past the incident. A murder has to be solved and it’s Evander that needs to solve it, but he just doesn’t have the energy. It has such a good twist when things come to light for poor Evander.
