Publisher's summary

David Rivers wanted to lead his team in war. What he got was a suicide mission....

David Rivers is no ordinary mercenary.

He’s just been assigned command of a team in the international criminal war raging in South America.

But the Triple Frontier region is deadly. Narcos and terrorists rule its remote jungle, and David must lead his team into the heart of danger.

Getting in is easy. Getting out might be impossible.

When a high-risk recon mission turns deadly, David’s team must fight for survival against overwhelming odds. Desperate and on the run, they use everything at their disposal just to stay alive.

But getting out will require something more...and if David doesn’t discover the truth behind his current mission, it will be his last.

Finally!

I found the first 3 books ok. With this one, Jason Kasper gets close to Mark Greaney and Vince Flynn!
This is the best so far. Loved the Suicide Cartel.

Good story but narration is lacking.

I struggled to finish the book because of the narration, Adam extremely over emphasized every sentence, and even worse his breathy soft over emphasis is probably better served for chicks romance novels. I dont know who trains these narrators but over emphon every sentance makes it boring, and really there is no emphasis on things that should be because everything is exaggerated. Adams voices are fine and when he spoke as other characters it was better, especially speaking as the woman his breathy voice worked fine, but that should have been the obly part he used the breathy emphasis. I would only listen to another one of these with Adam narrating if I knew he had not used that breathy over emphasis for everything.

Could have been better

Some people may appreciate the details of where a shoe lace falls with a lot of descriptive words about the lace and the leather it falls against and the way the lace, while a till tight,....... and on and on, all while running through the jungle while getting shot at. I don't. Seemed like page filler. I started skipping thru it and I didn't miss a thing.

Jason Kasper has done it again

Continues to keep me engaged in the story. The story line and plot twist and turn to create something great. David Rivers character continues to grow. Already waiting for the next one.
