Good story, but seemed to end abruptly.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Maybe. It's a good story, but seems to end so abruptly it's really disappointing.

If you’ve listened to books by Julie Klassen before, how does this one compare?

Well it seemed to me as if the writer just ran out material and ended the story. No epilogue, etc.

Any additional comments?

Listened quickly, enjoyed the story and mystery, but was disappointed in the last couple of chapters and specifically the abrupt ending.

Would have loved a follow up, the story was very long for such a short ending. Still worth the read

The story is so well done. One of my favorite of her books! I will definitely listen to this one multiple times.

I would have given it 5 stars if it weren’t for the rather abrupt ending. A pity, but still an enjoyable book.

Great story, good narration

This is a really good story and the narration was good too, but I don’t know if it was the narrator or the editing but there was way too much dead air in between the parts of the story.

I liked listening to Margaret’s learning experiences as a housemaid. The details were interesting and written in such a way as to not be boring. Very well written.

It is a fun story and I learned a lot about the life of servants and those they work.

some of the plot was a little predictable, but overall I really enjoyed it. The writing and dialogue was done well and the reader was good.

Quite enjoyable!

I so enjoyed the upstairs, downstairs aspect of this story. I would recommend increasing the speed of the narration. It helps the narration sound more natural.
