A wonderful story

Marina was mute and living in a horrible situation. An evil man made her beg because she got more money for her disability. He also hit her & the others. She could not remember how she got there. One day he made her very angry and she left him after discovering she could make ice. While wondering the streets she met Emma. Emma took her in and cared for her. She soon saw prince Dominic & a memory surfaced. Dominic was getting ready to leave on a ship to find out why ships could not get in or out of their port. She managed to get on board & was caught shortly after the boat left. The ship ended up sinking & when she went in the water she realized she was home. She was a mermaid. The adventures that her & Dominic had while learning who she was. I loved the characters and the story idea I highly recommend this book.
