There MUST be a sequel!?

Gerri Hill gives us a wonderful story of loss and recovery that is marred by an ending as abrupt as an unexpected stair. The lack of a satisfactory climax to one of the principal conflicts in the narrative leaves me hoping that a sequel is forthcoming. Like, soon!

There are a couple of flawed edits in the recording, but Abby Craden's usual superlative performance maintains Ms. Craden in her position at the top of my Audible pantheon.

Gerri Hill at her best with a different type of romance

Now, that’s what I call an interesting plot. She does it again. I love the depth of the characters and the way she deals with the characters’ conflict.
Quite recommendable if you are looking for a change in lesbian romance.

Good book

I really enjoy the narrator. She does an amazing job. I liked the book... but I think the ending was rushed and didn’t have enough closure based on the emotions of the story.

I love how the book focused on the relationship between Lindsey and Jack as much as Lindsey and Hannah.

Abby Craden could read legal documents and I'd end up turned on 🤣😁!

Gerri Hill has written another riveting heartstrings and hormones tale. Abby Craden has narrated the lust and love through her voice, conveying emotions essential in this story. I highly recommended this book.

Beautiful and touching

Such a beautiful story where two families, experiencing such great grief and sorrow, create a powerful bond and support for each other. Loved little Jack and his relationship with both women. Abby Craden knocks it out of the park conveying every emotion Gerri Hill has written into this story. I found myself rationing my listening time towards the last dozen chapters, as I didn’t want the story to end. I wish I could have also hugged poor Lindsey and Jack at times.
Totally recommend this story to all. I now understand why it’s the favorite of some of Gerri Hill’s readers. Now mine, too.
