gripping story line

Very interesting story line. I knew very little about the Victorian period . This was truly eye-opening. Great narration and story. I highly recommend this book.

Very interesting story

This was a wonderful depiction of life for women in the late 1800s. And it was a heartwarming story about friendship.

Liked it after awhile

This was written of a time period I know little about. It was very interesting to learn more about it as I indulged in the plot and grew fond of each female character. Well written.

Interesting premise

Found the information about the lives of the gentlewomen really interesting. They never, in essence, less free than the poor.

Speechless

Everything about this book was incredible! The storyline was gripping. The characters were well thought out and relatable. The details were accurate for the time period. The reader was great. And the ending is so satisfying. This one definitely earned all 5 stars!
