Hope, Friendship and Love Through Loss

Beautifully written and performed, this story was truthful and poignant. I strongly identified with Veronica and loved watching her transition through loss into a beautiful wise butterfly. Highly recommend!

Great story line

I wish there was a sequel! Narration was great. I felt like I was part of the travel party.

The story was very relatable regarding the divorce and family members taking a mother for granted. I enjoyed every part of this book.

Full of heart on so many levels

Just one of the best books I’ve read in a long time. Veronica hires as a travel companion to Mariah to recreate a trip Mariah’s mother, Rachel, planned before her death. They experience the culture, traditions, and intoxicating aromas of Parsi cafés throughout London, Paris, Morocco, and India. They are accompanied by Henry, a photographer and friend of Mariah’s. They use Rachel's letters to guide them. This trip gives each to begin a new chapter in life.

Another Barbara O’Neal winner!

I was sad to see this story end. I loved it so much. I love that this woman in her mid years got a second chance at life and love and the adventure of her lifetime.

Beautiful story

Beautiful story that takes the reader from Denver to London to Paris to Marrakesh then India.

A must read

This is one of the best books that I have read in a long time. So many ups and downs, but in a good way. The narrator was fabulous.

Great story… loved the detailed descriptions of their travels. Good summer read or anytime read.

Interesting story

At first, I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this. The narrator’s voice felt a bit flat to me. But, the story drew me in and then I could not stop listening.

Despite disappointments life can be beautiful

Despite deep life challenges, friendship, hope, and love are possibilities. Keep moving forward. Loved the story line, visiting the different countries and visiting the different cafes. It’s a good read.
