Publisher's Summary

The highly effective methods to rid yourself of procrastination (it's not Eat That Frog!)

Are you frustrated of not able to start what you put your mind too? Angered by your cluttered mind and waste the day away doing nonessential work? Want to become a top performer getting more work done in a week than in the last year? If you’re someone who gets stuck in negative thought patterns that hold you back from your true potential. This book will change your existence.

When you order this book you can:

  • Realize a simple proven five-step system to stop procrastinating guaranteed to work.
  • Eliminate exhaustion and discover how to work with intense focus for hours.
  • Reveal the one true secret to become and stay motivated for life.

How to build self-discipline and will power the right way

Temptation surrounds you like the ocean surrounds fish, like space surrounds Earth. It’s everywhere and in everything and to consciously resist it is a choice. The choice to better yourself and propel yourself forward and achieve your goals. But resistance is hard. It’s much easier to go with the flow. To give in and give up and let temptation envelop you. The problem is temptation tends take you places you don’t want to go or leave you with regret.

That’s why inside this book I’ll show you how to:

  • Understand the fundamentals of self-discipline and how to turn it on like a faucet
  • Gain simple tricks to break bad habits and force yourself to be more productive
  • Develop a fool proof system to achieve your goals automatically without giving in

How to finish what you start

Have you ever felt like you don’t push yourself hard enough? You have all these thoughts and ideas but only act for a day then decommit yourself. It’s like for many to pick up a book to only read the first few pages than put it down because it’s more effortless to watch TV than to apply yourself. These goals and dreams you’ve envisioned fade away because you’ve given up too soon. But that changes now when you learn to finish what you start.

At first, it’s an exhausting pattern. You can’t trust your own mind to carry you through. The change begins when you strengthen your mind and develop the discipline and mental toughness to grind away at what needs to be done.

Inside this book you will discover:

  • How to unlock the right attitude to forge relentless willpower so you never quit early
  • The unconscious anti-habits that hold you back from realizing your true potential
  • The hidden rule to push yourself beyond what you thought your limits were

Excellent Resource!

I listen to this book several months ago and thought the premise is excellent. It did help me with small habits which lead to bigger ones. The author is one of my favorite motivational writers. I look forward to more of his books.

Beautiful book, narration not much

I've loved this book since I first read it and was excited to know Audible has it. However the tone and pace the narrator uses is very robotic and unnatural.
I have this book in my kindle and if I knew that the voice was going to be this robotic, I might as well asked Alexa to read the Kindle edition to me.

Why, why have such a disclaimer at the beginning?

The disclaimer just made me loose faith in this book. When I picked up Napolion Hill's " Think and Grow Rich" I did not automatically expect to have bags of money rolling my way if I just think about it, but the book did open me up to believing that Positive thinking is not a bunch of poppycock. Similarly, without the disclaimer I might have invested my time into this book and probably learned something valuable.

It also did not help that I find the narrator too robotic.

So bad I returned it!

I never leave bad reviews, but this is just so awful and actually painful to listen to. The English is so bad it sounds as though it was written by a non-native English speaker and wasn't proof-read at all. It must have been so hard for the narrator to read the grammatical mistakes rather than try to correct them as there are so many obvious errors.

In terms of content, it starts with the longest disclaimer I have ever heard, followed by a lot of waffle. I only made it to Chapter 5, but there was already a lot of repetition and no clear structure. Credit to them for taking action and publishing it, but this is the worst book I have ever listened to and not the standard I would expect from Audible.

Not all it promises

Pretty generic and uninspired. The narration is horrible and to sounds computer generated. The bad grammar and occasionally wrong words is irritating.

For efficiency - avoid this title

I struggled through approx. 60% of this book before giving up. From mildly interesting, through tripe to complete nonsense. Save your money. More importantly, save your time and do ANYTHING else instead.

Torn ….

On the one hand some of the content is quite good. It’s bringing together valid points of other books I have read on that topic…

However: what’s with all these grammar errors?
Some of the content seems like a copy paste exercise from Google Translate????

It annoys me so much that I had to write a review…. Arguably I did not procrastinate that, so the book had clearly some effect ….

Self Discipline or diet book?

The constant reference to diets and the gym blah blah!
Yes this is part of self discipline but there is just way too much in this book.

Trite

Try observations, and inspiring and in a wooden voice. Worthless. I couldn’t get past the first 10 minutes.

Reasonable content, terrible narration

The content itself is common-sense, but the narrator actually misses words, and refers to "your brains" (plural!) when speaking about our individual brain (that's just one example - repeated often).
Although there's expression in his voice, it's as though he's not thinking about, much less understanding, what he's saying.
I persisted for a few hours, but it's a fairly grating experience.
Not worth the money/credit. I bought this off an Audible recommendation, but should have looked at the reviews before purchasing.
