Gaahhhh that British accent does things to me!
Shane East did a great job bringing Hayden front and center in this story. It was magical to hear his voice saying those dirty, filthy things.
Erin Mallon was amazing as Avery. Her emotion came through loud and clear. She gave Avery a voice :)
Hayden was swoon worthy in sooooo many ways...he had a brief misstep, but he def redeemed himself. I was not really ready to let these two go because I was hanging on every word Shane and Erin were saying. The chemistry between Hayden and Avery was so fun to listen to...the dirty parts were just dirty enough ;)
On a side note I now think I am needing to charter a private Yacht...

Gentleman, Protector, Forever

Hayden Wolf is a businessman on the brink. His deals and acquisitions are being thwarted and his status being challenged. This is about to cease. Hayden has a new plan. It starts by taking a very public but private vacation aboard a luxury yacht. Everything is precisely planned. Down to the crew. What Hayden never planned for was the efficient, intelligent, and gorgeous Chief Stew, Avery. She makes him lose control, give of himself, and want more than a fleeting encounter.

Avery prides herself in her job performance. Thus her position as the Chief Stew. This current excursion is the answer to her needs concerning her family. But one look makes her weak and wanting. But Hayden is so much more than a charter guest. But he's hiding a secret, she's avoiding his touch, and their carefully constructed playhouse is about to crumble. Accusations, bribery, love, and fear engulf the couple. But can they survive the answers once they're given?

The narrators added so much depth to the characters. He was the epitome of a groomed businessman. And Avery was portrayed as the efficient and trained employee. The narrators allowed me to feel Hayden's frustration and desperation while Avery's passions and fear seeped into my heart. A very enjoyable reading of a phenomenal story.

A long awaited book for me...

This is the perfect combination for me. Louise is just one of the best in the romance world and Erin narrating is to and ok Shane to..This was a very unique story line witch is hard to find theses day, but Louise does it perfect as alway. another great book....loved it

Loved the story

The book was nice and HOT!!, but real. The story line was sweet. I love the 2 narrators, Shane East and Erin Mallon.
This story really helped you develop the characters in you head. But then again Louise Bay always knocks it out of the park for me.

this is the first book I've listened to by this author and narrators and I will definitely read more by these people! it was steemy, funny, romantic, and a great conflict.

Great Listen

I love Louise Bay. I love her character development and the way she gives perspectives from both main characters. I am thrilled there is another book featuring Landon but that's another review.
The Narration was my only negative. Shane East has a wonderful British accent which is an easy listen for me. Erin Mallon while she has a nice voice she is breathy. Almost every sentence is punctuated with an exhale. Her breathlessness is the reason I gave performance only 3 stars.

Awesome!

Slow start, but once it got going, the story was great. It was well written and performed. The Love scenes were just the right amount of erotic without crossing the line into vulgar (at least not IMO). I'd definitely recommend this book!

Shane East, wow wee, that voice!

I love Louise's writing style, she is a genius … so awesome!! I had yet to read this beauty and noticed it was on Audible … goodness I am so going to see what else Shane East does read. that voice!! I think that Andi Arndt and Shane East need to read together … hint hint!! please? that would be an awesome narrator combo. there is something about hearing a book read … love this story. love the characters. maybe I have always enjoyed the idea of living on a boat. not sure how easy or difficult it might be??! but it seems so awesome. Must read/listen. ( ;
