This was a beautiful story of family. Of love and the struggles to get it right. Family is complicated but wonderful. Told from the eyes of a stubborn old man who loved in a stubborn old way.

I loved Grandpa John; so wise and never too old to learn! A heartwarming story!!!

Beautiful story with deep love grown through the years.

This was a wonderful book in giving everyone a lesson as they read it! You could feel your heart being tugged on so much of the time as the feeling the individuals were going through was written into this book. To me that makes for good reading.
I would recommend this book to others because when a story touches me in the way this did I really feel it would bless others to read it also.
Audible is such a blessing to me as my eyes tire easily and I have found some much joy in listening to the many books that I might never have had the ability to read!! Thank you audible and keep up the great work!! I also want to congratulate the narrator as without these people to make the book come to life with such emotion and caring it wouldn’t be the same delight!!
