A sad story of a regular families loss

Night Road is the story of a young girl who has spent her life in foster care until she turns 14. She meets twins her age, they befriend each other thru high school until one terrible night.

The narration is excellent and drew me into the story. It's one I'll listen to again, I'm sure. Well worth a credit-aimed at teens and young women this is a heart rending novel

Good read

Really good story. It was a little difficult to get into Zach’s character with the feminine voice. It made it difficult to believe he was an 18 year old boy

Sad

I didn’t expect this story to be so sad. I found myself pushing to get through the heart break.

Amazing

This is the first review I've written. This book was so powerful and amazing. I listened to it in 2 days. I couldn't stop. Wow!

I loved this book! Till the very end. Then the author had someone let out balloons which totally ruined the entire book for me.

Letting balloons go is the absolute worst way to celebrate someone's life. I loved this book until the end then was disgusted by it... i hope no future readers think that a balloon release is a good idea. It kills our environment and the beautiful animals living in it. Also sorry for any spoilers

Had to stop multiple times so I wasn't tearing up in public. somewhat predictable, but I loved it regardless. The voices of Mia and Grace were annoying, but this was more character issues than the narrator. Loved the narrator. Highly recommend.

In Control

The story line was delicate and emotional. It involved young people growing up and how hard that can be when you are not in control. Cannot be in control. And sometimes should not be in control.
How wicked life can be for some. Everyone suffers burden, but actions on one night involved and changed whole families. Their return is beautifully written and the auditor did a wonderful job.

Great, great book as everything this brilliant author has written.

You can,t stop listening to the book.
You cry, you smile and you enjoy the book tremendously.
