Rich boys don't fraternize with the help. They don't care about the help. They don't protect the help. I should've remembered those lessons before I handed over my trust to four gorgeous, domineering boys. But I didn't. And now, I'm not the only one who's been hurt. Someone out there is toying with me and my family, and I don't know who to turn to or who to trust. I never wanted to play this game. But since the pieces are already on the board...I'm sure as f--k gonna play to win.

It wasn't supposed to be like this. Evergreen Academy was meant to be my fresh start. My hair was on point. My skin was flawless. And now, I wore the hell out of my clothes instead of hiding them. Even running into Ryder hadn't thrown me. So what if the silver-eyed devil who tormented me for years now ruled my new school with a band of boys everyone called the Knights. The four of them were devastatingly rich, enviously handsome...and heartbreakingly cruel.

Publisher's Summary
Rich boys don't fraternize with the help.
They don't fall in love with the help.
They don't risk everything for the help.
We know what we're up against now. Who we're up against. But if he holds all the cards, the truth hardly matters.
The kings of Linwood want me to run. They want me far away from here, where I'll be safe.
I won't go, though. I refuse to leave my mom behind, and the four boys who've each claimed a piece of my heart won't let me face this threat on my own.
They swear they'll do whatever it takes to end this. To keep me safe.
Since we won't back down, fighting is our only option.
But I've played poker long enough to know that sometimes when you risk everything...
You lose everything.
Author's note: The Risk is a reverse harem high school bully romance, the final book in the Kings of Linwood Academy trilogy. It contains cursing and sexual situations.

Hell Fucking Yess
The Kings of Linwood definitely gets my approval. These books was so f**king good. I loved every minute of the twist and turns. Only thing I wish is that this was college life instead of high school. I wanna know if they stay together. Although It was amazing. I definitely recommend this slow burn RH the first book may seem more like a single couple but just keep going. So f**king good and worth it. These books definitely take a different spin on RH world. Lo & Link are more the alpha couple and everyone else is background but they all somehow grow together in the end. It’s nice. Definitely must

Liked the series overall
What started as a light bully romance turned into a murder mystery. It kept my attention and I wanted to get to the end to find out who the real murderer was. My suspicions ended up being correct but there was a twist I didn't see coming. The group was definitely in way over their head. There is some one on one smexy times as well as one group scene. 🔥🔥🔥
Narration was 4 stars. Surprisingly I liked her male voices more than when she was narrating for the main female character. There was some static/noise at the end of the chapters.

Hmm... kinda went downhill. Didn't see that coming
I completely lost interest in the big mystery. I was never invested in Iris, so I didn't care who killed her or the reason why. And this was before we even found out the murderer's identity.
As for Penelope being locked away for a crime she did not commit, I truly felt for her. She came to this town to take a job that would help her pay for Harlow's medical bill debt, only to be falsely arrested and have her reputation slandered. To make matters worse, her public defender was completely incompetent. Like why did no one stop to think "wasn't it odd that Penelope would kill a girl she's never even met before?" Even if Iris bullied her daughter, how would she know who to look for, and why only Iris? What about Savannah? Why was she spared? Was bullying a good enough reason to commit homicide? Okay, so there was DNA evidence found on her vehicle. But that could easily be planted, just like how cops are easily bought.
In contrast, I cared more about the four Kings, yet there weren't enough fun moments between them. They were too busy protecting Harlow or saving her from her shitty decisions. How many times do we have to hear Harlow's anxious thoughts before learning that she was wrong and nothing remotely bad happens? Why was she always distracted enough to get caught in stupid situations at school? She should have anticipated that Savannah wouldn't give up so easily. The frantic inner monologue felt like filler material, which is why this story seemed to drag on so much.
I also found it rather convenient how every time she has to move, she sleeps with the next boy. Like it was all situational and not necessarily because of the intense individual chemistry. And when only one of the twins was alone with her, it felt really off. Maybe it's because they were alone just that one time. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the narrator's male voices, which in turn, made the sex scenes all the better. But they were too focused on giving and not receiving. Still, I just had to finish the story to see how things would play out. Yeah, did not see the whole laundering business coming --it popped up out of no where. How naive they were to think they would get to leave unscathed. I would have lost my sh!t if one of the boys got seriously injured.
To top the whole thing off, the narrator kept mispronouncing words. Eh, the epilogue was nice though. What salvaged this story for me was Lincoln and his relationship with his bros. Loved him and how we was totally cool with sharing his girl. He's super intelligent as the alpha leader. River is the quiet thinker. Chase is the goofball of the bunch. And Dax... well, he's a loyal brother. I'll never think of swimming and sunrises the same again with the fun inside jokes. Overall, I'd give this 2.75 stars. #AudiobookObsessionReviewer

Bittersweet
The conclusion of this series is absolutely bittersweet. I definitely wasn’t ready to let go of Harlow and her guys.
“There’s a relief in knowing that we have each other. That we all belong to each other. But it’s terrifying in a way too. As if finally speaking our feelings aloud has made us even more aware of what we could lose.”
— The Risk: A Reverse Harem High School Bully Romance (Kings of Linwood Academy Book 3) by Callie Rose
I’m gutted it’s over. When Harlow realizes who actually killed Iris, I felt my heart skip. It was right there, but I didn’t see it coming.
I loved this series. I loved the characters. I still love that this was one of my first RH books. I know there will always be a special place in my heart for Linwood.
The narration is pretty good. It wasn’t my favorite, but I feel like single narration for a book with 5 main characters is a task!

Will the risks outweigh the rewards?
This is the third and final book in the Kings of Linwood Academy trilogy.
All the answers.. this book has them. However, the truth isn't easily acquired and the answers were definitely a surprise!
I can honestly say I did not see that coming.
The Kings fierce loyalty to Harlow is extraordinary. I was all about it. I loved the fact that they were all happy together and they didn't care what others thought. Their happiness belonged to them and them alone. No one could tamper it. I enjoyed the angst and steam of this book and I loved the Kings so much. I loved their protectiveness of Harlow and their relationship with each other. The 5 of them have something special that they refuse to let others break. The Kings are so busy trying to keep Harlow safe that everything else is just noise. I understood the parents of the Kings and their hang ups. But I really loved the fact that they didn't care. They were all happy and that was what mattered.
The angst and the risks in this book are satisfying. I enjoyed the thrill. The turn of events was shocking and I caught myself saying "Don't do it" "That's a bad idea" "Oh no, don't do it". I was involved wholly in this story. I was engrossed. I loved it. The only thing I really wanted was to get the boys take on things.. I love multiple POV books and I wanted that with this book, but that didn't deter me in the least from devouring this book regardless. When things get heated and come to a peak I was sitting there thinking this is it. There is no way this will end well. There is no way they will all survive. I was so worried. I won't say more for fear of spoilers but IYKYK.
Amanda Stribling really is a great narrator. She nailed it with all 3 of these books and I loved it.

The Risk
Not what I was expecting, but a great ending to the series. It has been filled with drama, suspense, danger, and a few twists along the way. It was a bit slow to start at the beginning of book 1 but once it really go going i was pulled right in.

Great characters and Great story!!!
I have enjoyed every book I’ve listened to fro Callie Rose! I think this series is my favorite! There is more than just romance here. More than the bully story. There’s a bit of mystery and intrigue as well! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of these three books! I’m just glad I got them all at once so I didn’t have to wait!!
Amanda Stribling was wonderful with these characters and their angst! Her voice added to my enjoyment of this series!?

What an ending to an amazing series
The Kings will do anything to protect Harlow at this point. Harlow is determined to save her mother and the Kings are running right beside her. Their devotion is stronger than any highschool romance I have ever known. These kids are wiser beyond their years, but the corruption goes so deep, they may not be able to save Harlow's mom in time. THis is a perfect finale to the drama that has surrounded Harlow. The suspense is een more intense than the other two books. I was once again hooked and could not stop listening until the end. I devoured this series in two days. I am sad it is over, but I loved the ending. It was just getting there that had me on the edge of my seat.
Amanda Stirling is stellar in this narration. There are so many moving pieces and Amanda narrates each one flawlessly. Amanda created a movie in my mind. Her narration added to the experience of this series. I loved that it was a consistent narrator. I cannot wait to hear more from Amanda Stirling.

Worth the Risk
I've discovered the killer, slept with all the boys, what's next? Risking our lives to free my mom. Discovering the killer was the easy part, trying to find the information to feel my mom might cost everyone their lives. The best one in the series and how deep the boys go for Harlow is crazy.

Beautiful Ending!
Harlow has been beside herself with grief. Somebody has murdered a girl she didn't get along with at her school and framed her mother. While trying to find the truth, she stumbles upon the real killer, putting herself and her four boys in danger. She must decide whether to continue trying to free her mother or let it go and keep her and those she loves alive. I really enjoyed this book. I loved the entire trilogy. I didn't love it at first, but I stuck with it and wound up falling in love about halfway through the first book. I'm so glad I stuck with it. It got so much better. I loved how everything came together very neatly in the end. But the author definitely kept me on edge to up to the very end! I really loved how connected I felt to Harlow. She is just this strong-willed and passionate young lady. She knew what she wanted, but she also cared about what others wanted as well. She tried to stay strong, but she was able to admit her weaknesses. Her four boys were pretty amazing too. Once one got through their exterior walls. I'm sad that I'm done with the trilogy and won't' read about these again. I'd of loved to see more with her mom and her best friend. I was very impressed with Amanda Stribling. Not only in this book but the entire trilogy. It was like she pulled the emotions from the characters out and claimed them as her own. Especially where Harlow was concerned. I loved it. It's a quality that I love seeing with narrators. I love the life that narrators can bring to books. It helps me enjoy reading when I can't actually read. I really did love this book. I loved the entire trilogy. I recommend reading the entire trilogy in order. It is definitely not one that can be read out of order. I also want to warn that it will catch a reader in their feels. There were parts in the book where my heart was beating so hard! I can't even begin to explain it. I was as afraid as Harlow. I'm sure of it!
