Publisher's Summary

The ancient Babylonians were the first people to discover the universal laws of prosperity. In The Richest Man in Babylon, George S. Clason reveals their secrets for creating, growing, and retaining wealth.

Through these entertaining tales of merchants, tradesmen, and herdsmen, you'll learn how to save more out what you earn, get out of debt, put your money to work, attract good luck, choose wise investments, and safeguard a lasting fortune.

Excellent book

The book was fabulous but the reader was really challenging. He was fantastic with pronunciation but was so monotone it was easy to loose focus. This is a great book but the reader needs to change to make it excellent.

Ageless financial wisdom and a great narration

Great narration of wisdom from long ago. Set in the ancient city of Babylon, this book delivers short stories that describe basic financial concepts in easily digested and implemented ways. Coupled with great a narration, this becomes an easy book to get through

basic principles of accumulation of wealth

This book relates the principles of wealth creation in an enjoyable, anecdotal form using examples from antiquity. I think it is a great introduction to wealth accumulation. I have bought copies for my grown children. Hopefully they will learn the lessons from the book.

Enjoyable listen with some important key points

I really enjoyed this book and the story it told. It made some important keys points told by way of the story which was easy to listen to although I felt the points could have been made more succinctly. I would still recommend it as it was easy to listen to despite the language used.
