giving this a go

A good outline of the diet, and some good advice on what to include and what to exclude from your daily diet.

RA specific diet

I had been looking for natural remedies for RA when I came across this and it seems to tick quite a few boxes. The anti inflammatory diet has been adapted for this condition and a lot of what the author talks about makes perfect sense.

Helped my mental state

I must admit to having being mentally battered when I found out I had rheumatoid arthritis and the medical profession were little help. Providing me with a similar range of drugs that the author had but little else in the way of practical advice. The drugs were awful, the side effects of some were almost as bad the condition - so I am heartened to find an alternative approach that could help as well.

For Arthritis sufferers

I have the rheumatoid arthritis version of the disease, however I think the food choices and advice would be suitable for other varieties of the disease which are more prevalent. Whether or not this will tackle my RA remains to be seen but at the end of the day putting a healthy home cooked meal on your plate can just not be a bad thing.

Lennox has some good advice to serve up both verbally and also in the meal plans and his suggested food choices.

Weight gain and Arthritis

It is a sad fact that like the author I went from a healthy active size 8 to an overweight inactive and obese woman in three years. I utterly hated myself and what I had become, it was so nice to hear from someone else who has suffered exactly the same. I am trying this approach, and it has motivated me to try a little exercise again rather than giving up which I had done.

Health yourself from within.

Ross talks a lot of sense and his approach to food and rheumatoid arthritis is an approach that has been a long time coming. Nature has provided us with the means to tackle inflammation and we need to capitalise on this.

A must for Rheumatoid Arthritis Sufferers

Taking a good look at your diet could be the cheapest and easiest way to alleviate your symptoms. Prescription medication only treats the symptoms however this book looks at what we put into our bodies as being the cause of our illness.

Interesting link between RA and Food

I was aware that certain food groups would set off my RA symptoms, but I had not realised that such an approach to diet and nutrition could potentially dampen down the effects of RA. Definitely giving this a go.

love it

This book is exceptionally useful. I have inflammation in my intestines that I am figuring out how to control. It is put together in a strategy that is easy to take after and easy to fuse into consistently or week by week schedule.
Stunning and yummy recommendations for formulas and suppers that are not too hard to put together.Love this book

I like that this book is broken down into easy to read chapters. The first chapters Soothing Chronic Inflammation is amazing and really helped me understand more about the causes of inflammation and what foods are great to heal inflammation.
