Clever and zany, this book made the 60-ish crowd cool! I was entertained and delighted from the first page to the last. “Read” only by listening—the narrator brings this story to glorious life! I would listen to any book she reads!

Outstanding narration takes this gem into the stratosphere! Absolute must listen!

Gorgeous writing! Filled with spirit and humor! Original! Kept me glued to my iPhone! Truly twisty! Fun-loving barbs, here, there, and everywhere! The last line of the book, in context, is hilarious and worth the price of admission alone! Oh and the performance was one of the best I’ve heard yet! Could not recommend more!

Lots of twists

Loved this book. Lots of unexpected plot twists. Loved the character’s dynamics with each other. Humorous events.

Super fun and fast-paced!

Loved this read! Fast paced and hard to put down -- plot sounds dark but the writing is so sharp-witted and the dialogue so true-to-life (especially for anyone married 30+ years!) I kept hearing myself in one character -- and then in another. The side-bars of language idiosyncrasies and movie references also hit personal with me -- a really fun summer read. And you get an adorable recue mutt thrown in too. Highly recommend.

What Fun!

I thought this was such a fun twisty story—really enjoyed the characters! I’ll definitely be on the lookout for more from this author.

May be my new favorite author!

This book (and especially on audio) is now my fave book of all time. It has the feel of the Thursday Murder Club and Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers and now that it's over, I am desperate for another. Not only is the caper well plotted and hysterical, but the writing is sharp and witty and I can't wait to see what Sue writes next. Do yourself a favor and buy this one. You won't regret it.

Like young golden girls group of women. Looked forward to listening each time will look for more of her books !

Zany

A fun story, took a break from holocaust books. Some intrigue, some humor and relatable and many think about life with long marriages. Far fetched plot. Characters were well described.
All and all entertaining.

Mystery mixed with humor and a little current culture(wordle).

The personalities of the 5+ characters came through on their dialogue. I enjoyed listening to everyday troubles as well as the problem solving of the men and women .

worth listening

Kept my attention, during a time nothing too graphic would be ok. Worth the credit.
