Gorgeous lyrical novel

The audio narration rose to the magnificent occasion of this wonderful novel. My favorite book of 2025.

Disappointed

I generally like Hamilton’s books, but this one fell short. Phoebe was never likable which can be forgiven. But that a supposedly intelligent girl, she allowed things to get out of hand to such an extent. It really didn’t seem feasible, so I had a hard time buying into her story and plight.

Appreciation of music

Too much irrelevant detail! Not my taste. I like a novel that offers something to learn.
