The mess of family

Wonderful story of a big, messy family. Like any family- happy, sad, exhausted, frustrating, and full of emotions.

Familiar themes

Many vignettes familiar to reform Jews, quite entertaining. At times the narrator was over the top, too hysterical.

Amazing relatable stories

This is a book of short stories that tell a bigger story, but most could stand alone. It explores three generations of a contemporary Jewish family in the United States. As a contemporary of the middle generation so much was funny and relatable highly recommend.

Family stories

I enjoyed listening to this tale of how families work over generations. I love listening to the narrator too
