Publisher's summary

The Pact Book II follows Rob and the men of ODA 022 from their battles against the invaders (China, Russia, Iran, and Hezbollah) in Colorado to joining the resistance to take back the nation.

The men come into contact with other freedom fighters and are taken to the front lines of WWIII.

As they spread out to take part in the national battle plan, the team is hunted by Dmitri, a former Spetsnaz-turned SVR operative. His job is to capture the men and inflict as much pain as possible, as Rob learns when he lands in Dmitri’s grisly interrogation.

The Masonic connection to the resistance is further explained, as well as a hidden part of Rob’s past that is brought to light with a unique twist. The team encounters things they cannot explain, and are helped by someone from their past who was given unique talents through his time in a classified CIA Special Projects assignment.

Rob also meets Natalie, a woman with special abilities of her own to whom he finds himself magnetically drawn.

Some of the fiercest warriors from the team are lost or sacrifice themselves on missions in Book II, and the men are given the option of enacting retribution against those invaders who attempted to destroy their nation.

very good

well written and moves quickly. picks up nicely from book one. story that though it is fiction is still very believable when one looks at how out of control the federal government has become.

Mike Dawson nails it again!

A good audible book is made not so much by the author and storyline but the narrator can make or break it. We love Mike Dawson and listen to everything he reads. (Check out Left of Boom)
We are completely enjoying THe Pact series. Cannot wait for book 3!

Captured me

This was a great listen, kept me awake on my drive from NJ to Tennessee. Listened to book 2 heading back. Was an awakening as well as a learning experience. The parts about free masonry was especially interesting, and educational.

Finally, book 2!

I love what Rob is doing with this series, it started out like your normal Red Dawn type story but takes an interesting turn towards the end of the first book, this second book dives deeper down the rabbit hole and and separates itself further from traditional military fiction. I love it! Add to that the fact this one is also narrated by Dawson, of Carolla fame, and mannnnn it's just a fun time!

Great narrator and the story had me hooked. I would recommend reading the pact volume 1 first if you haven't already. By far my favorite story. Amazing

I love the Series

I have been intrigued by this series and I am excited for the conclusion. I was saddened by the deaths, kept in suspense at the explanations, and etc.

Disclosure

Freemasonry in all its forms has been at the root of many facets of civilization…. For better and for worse. It is time we all woke up to that influence and how it affects us each individually in our bloodlines.

Great story line!

This book, the second of a trilogy, takes you on a wild ride of Patriots responding to a foreign invasion of the USA. The author is a wordsmith who has the ability to make you feel like you're right there...in the middle of battle. It was cool to see the groups that formed in different parts of the country to save our nation. HIGHLY recommended.

Green Berets and the Jedi Force

The first book in the series was a quick and decent book. Book 2 jumps all over the place from coast to coast and somehow goes from the US being invaded by 3 separate nations to the US winning the war with a handful of ex-special forces and Jedi force tricks. An if the US had the technology to develop hyper-loop trains to get forces one coast to the other in an hour how did we not have technology to stop the invasion in the first place. I will not be getting book 3 when it comes out.
