The things she saw and heard daily were nothing from a book she read, this was crazy real life. She knew the types of cases that she could potentially see, but a book, talking about it, or even a movie could not prepare her for the cases she was going to take on.

Three short months ago, Autumn closed a case that had kept her up at night reliving the horrific scene, like something straight out of a horror movie. Once again, she is called to investigate a murder that she knows will add more sleepless nights to her current schedule—a triple murder. A vibrant, hard-working mother of two, her outgoing and bubbly teenage daughter, and her daughter’s sassy but witty best friend are the victims of this heinous crime. The murder happened in the middle of the night on a quiet street just outside of Mt. Cleary, with only one elderly neighbor.
