I enjoyed the strong female character, who was equal in skill to the men’s.

The formulaic rhythm and pitch of the reader was distracting for me. He is talented, but needs to rethink his pitch patterns.

Unfortunately, I had listened to the newer books first, which did not make sense, but very good!!

Always Amazing Author

Very easy to listen to. The quick wit of Sharon Sala shines through these very unique characters.

Written for a male

A who done it mystery thriller. The storytelling had a different flare than I’m used to. I think it was written to engage a male reader. Interesting dynamic between Charlie and his assistant. The end really left you wanting more from the next book.

Well written and beautifully narrated! Enjoyable from first word to last. Sharon Sala at her best, hope to hear more from Wyrick!

A good find I’m glad I listened to the clips.

So this is a really good story. I listen to the clips and the person that is narrating his voice is very good. That’s why I chose this book. The language as far as the swear words is what is putting me off buying another book. But this is a really good work.

Very good series!

Although this series appears to be written by a woman, it does not particularly read that way. There is not a lot of unnecessary emotional goop. The characters, (a man and woman running an investigating business) and story line are interesting enough to hold you rapt for the whole nine hours. The narrator is a man and has an easy-listening voice. He does not over-emote or grate on your nerves. It left me wanting more, so I purchased the second book! There appears to be an underlying mystery, and perhaps a low-key love story underlying the series. But each book is a stand-alone novel..

Awesome story line!

This book was an awesome read. I didn't want to put it down so I didn't. I finished it in one afternoon and I'm about ready to start the second book. Can't wait!
