Characters were frustrating

Overall the book was good. But the characters were frustrating in the sense that there seemed to be a lack of urgency and common sense. it could have been the reader for the book though; I'm not sure if I would have had the same impression if I read it myself vs. listen in to it.

“Family Ties”

Colleen Coble draws us into the story with the first chapter. She also uses a frame story technique which helps develop the plot. The pieces of the puzzle do not begin to come together until the last few chapters. The reader does an excellent job in her presentation.
I think this story is worth a listen.

Good story

I liked the story, the history of Tampa Bat was a bonus. The Christian lessons were also enjoyable to hear.

Pure and Simple love

no cussing and the talk of God. No embarrassing sex scenes. Just pure and simple love.
