Why am I always running so fast? Is there something that I don’t want to see?

Listen to this amazing response from Osho and how he unfolds a deeper understanding for the questioner and us.

"...it is not only you; almost everybody is running as fast as he can from himself. And the problem is, you cannot run away from yourself. Wherever you go you will be yourself. The fear is of knowing oneself. It is the greatest fear in the world."

This Osho talk was about people that are running away from themselves, at least that's how it starts out. Running after money was used as an example and the general concept is the money is the excuse and the reality is the person is running from themselves, Osho said that many people attain their goal and make that money but in the end never find fulfillment. He then hilariously mentioned that people come to him with a thousand problems but he has only one solution and the question is how to make their question relate to his own solution which is meditation. After the first question about running was asked a second one was asked where the more a person gets into meditation the more they notice things that are growing in their consciousness. Osho made it clear that your meditation is merely a light and the things that are taken notice of were already there and the meditation revealed them whereas before the practitioner was blind to them. This speech had many mentions of stories and jokes that kept it light and entertaining while the topic itself was covered in earnest. The answer was to stop running away and start running within and once that meditation begins don't be surprised when you notice things that you didnt perceive before because they are not arising because of your meditation practice they are only being revealed.

Meditation has always been the answer: go within.
