The Speaker Sounded Like A Wimpy Man

I think that the wrong person was chosen to read the book. The author looks fit and athletic and the book is about how to improve your health. But it sounds like they chose a sickly person to read it. I could only make it 1/2 way thru the book.

Not much new information

Book is general and the information was not valuable. Same info in every book- balance diet with fruits vegetables nuts lean protein and dairy.

Great Read-Narrator should be shot!

I got this book to learn about Dr. Stork's point if view regarding this diet; after suffering two chapters of the narrator's droning & totally unemotional voice (exactly how do narrators find work? This one sounds so bad, I'd rather listen to the computerized operator at the phone company!) I gave up & returned the book! I have never been so disappointed in a narrated version of a good read & am going to give Audible one more chance!

Great Book!

This book is full of so much great information! Unfortunately, I found the narrator to be very difficult to listen to. I just purchased a paper copy so I can go back over the major points and bookmark some notes to remember. Except for not liking the narrator, I highly recommend this book!

maybe it's the subject

starts off with a decent thousand foot introduction to the microbiome and then Sal's la relatively vegetarian high fiber diet without support. for instance rarely are different get bacteria specify are given an explanation why that type is good or bad which one's lead to leanness for vitamin K Production. it would be nice to know which foods support which bacteria. perhaps when an ER doctor sells a dietary book he might want to consider dropping the M.D. title it seems a bit misleading

Hard to listen

I was so excited to get started but the narrator made it impossible to keep listening. it almost sounded computer generated.
