Publisher's summary

National Best Seller

From the New York Times and internationally best-selling author of The Little Paris Bookshop, an extraordinary new novel about self-discovery, second chances, and finding true love.

Marianne is stuck in a loveless, unhappy marriage. After 41 years she has reached her limit, and one evening in Paris she decides to take action. Following a dramatic moment on the banks of the Seine, Marianne leaves her life behind and sets out for the Brittany coast.

There she meets a cast of colorful and unforgettable locals who surprise her with their warm welcome and the natural ease they all seem to have, taking pleasure in life's small moments. These new friends help Marianne rediscover parts of herself that she has long forgotten, including a special gift for empathy and healing. And when she finds love with a handsome artist, Marianne is forever changed.

With all the buoyant charm that made The Little Paris Bookshop a beloved best seller, The Little French Bistro is a tale of second chances and a delightful escape to the joys of life in France.

Great story

I so enjoy Kristen Hannah's books and this was no exception. I loved the characters and how the story came together.

Sap and romance

Very predictable romance novel. Nothing there really.
The romance writing was even boring and sappy.

Disappointing

Didn't like the story. The narrator's accents were difficult to understand and confusing with the characters. Totally lacked the charm of Bookshop novel. I'm returning this one.

Finding your true self

Loved the way the story moved from so hopeless to a transformation of love and fulfilled dreams and deep love.

I love all of Nina George’s books!

She’s has the most amazing writing style with elegant and profound words that always turn me into an intent listener! I savor her books and morn when they are over.

Some might say they are predictable but that’s not the intent of her books, to take you on harrowing journeys and plot twists that leave you deranged for days. No the intent is unfoldment.

The narrator of this book is also equally brilliant. All her accents and pronunciations were spot on. Bravo!

It was ok, not great

I didn’t like how everything ended up so perfectly in the end. The story just didn’t resonate with me.

Second chances

I loved the Little Paris Bookshop. The Little French Bistro was a little sadder, but the setting was just as I remember Bretagne. It is a mystical part of France and the characters reflect its magic. It is a love story of all the characters. It is not a slick sexy youthful love story, but one whose characters discover who they really are and find the perfect person to match them. The main character, while discovering herself, affects all the villagers steeped in ancient Druid traditions to create a visual, tastyand touching story.

I LOVED it!

I LOVED hearing the appropriate dialect and beautiful interpretation of the story from the narrator. I enjoyed the story and open journey of the main character from death to a return to love. I especially enjoyed the Spiritual aspects. ♡
