It is what it is

It’s a monster girl romance … smutty? Not really it’s rather tame to what she normal writes. It’s a good story a bit basic and really it’s like all those romance novels you use to see in the super market just with a monster girl …. Nothing special. Just have great VA’s that could turn even basic to gold.

I enjoyed it. Surprisingly wholesome. Word word word word word word word word word word. Recommend it.

Really original

I enjoyed this really original addition to Annabelle’s universe. The protagonist is unique and the villains are scary real

Annabelle did a great job writing and this good listen. Amber and Kieran did a great job narration.

worth the credit

Honestly, listen to this book. it's good.
It's pretty good, thought out, erotica. It's a pretty good storyline. The characters are engaging and get a fair but of development/ growth.

More heart and less smut this time

I remember the first time I read this story on Literotica and I was struck by how little actual erotica there was. That didn't bother me at all because the story was so good. This story holds a special place in my heart because I'm a veteran and reading about Darren's struggle rings true on so many accounts.

Amber Lee Conners and Kieran Flitton aren't as good as the normal narrators for Anabelle Hawthorne's books. Their variety in voices is lacking, and ofttimes their tones while narrating are monotonous. But they do convey emotion very well, and I particularly feel like Amber Lee Conners voice as Ana was perfect.

Great listen

Another solid story from the author really enjoyed listening to both narrators and they really brought the story to life. The writing is solid and not clunky like you get with some other authors. Highly recommend listening to this one well worth it.

Pleasant surprise

I was hooked.
Military here and the flashes of PTSD and the shift from present to past were abrupt and sudden. War leaves you a different man from who you used to be and this showed it greatly.

The execution of drug/venom use and how it was implemented was not so in your face but the effects were definitely being shown and felt real.

the characters felt real and scary. Every single character felt scary real, antagonists and protagonists.

Wonderful flow of the story and the voice actors were on top of their game through the whole thing.

I love this story

A fun Read with Equal Erotic and Romantic Flavor

I bought this audiobook because I had heard it was dedicated to "Those Left Behind". The book was a really fun read with some erotic flavor and even more romantic tastes. I even joined her Patreon group I liked it so much. I also bought all of her existing Audible and ready to pre-order more. I enjoyed the story that much. I would love to see this story become a serial audiobook!
