A letter from Mineral Village arrives at his apartment; old Grandpa Joe passed away, leaving him his farm and all his savings. Although Pete is filled with regret at not being there at his grandfather's end, he decides to accept his inheritance and start a new life in the village where he spent every summer as a child.

But things aren't what they seem. Pete is approached by the patron deity of the Fertile Valley and Mineral Village—the self-described Harvest Goddess. She reveals his destiny as her chosen one, which obviously throws him for a loop. As shocking as that is, it isn't nearly as surprising as what his childhood friend, Queenie Luna, reveals to him.

He has a daughter.

But that's not all. Pete has to navigate the magical Fertile Valley while pursuing his quest on behalf of the Harvest Goddess, all while honoring the legacy of the grandfather he left behind. It won't be easy, but he's not giving up.

Great book

Aurora is my MVP here. Whoever came up with the moaning track idea deserves a cookie.

The story is good, the parts with Kylie are a real gut punch, in a good way. Cannot wait for book 2.

really good

first I have to congratulate the narrators, they did a awesome job with all the voices, singing and noises, it was a great listening.
this history hit right where I like it, some handy work plus adventure, casual and loving. Great job.

Entertaining Polyamorous fun

Goddess blessed is this valley. It will be fun to see how the village thrives.

Great first book!

Fun characters, amazing performances, Ms Bliss is amazing in everything she does. I love these stories where they have a good balance of spice and plot, even leaning more towards the plot. Not just one sex scene after the other. This book delivers and I can’t wait for the next one.

Absolutely bonkers

This was great, felt like 3 completely separate ideas were fist fighting for the plot the whole time and I'm not sure who won. VA work was awesome, characters were surreal, loved it. Will probably listen to more as they come out.

out of the park

Hawthrone and Knightly hit another home run with Fertile Valley. It was a one day listen and was saddened when book 2 was not available.

The inheritance to a magical land is a tried and tested scenario for the harem lit genre and the team did not disappoint. Bliss and Blue were a dynamiic story-telling duobringing the improbable to life in a fun and engaging manner. I am glad that the screwed up MC did take responsibility for his own actions and he was portrayed as a true addict who gained "sobriety," by embracing his addiction and worked through the complications of life. Looking forward to the remaining books ... how do I get to be on the reviewrs list?

Loved these games

This is a solid throwback story to the farming games we all used to play. Enough similarities while still having some twists too keep the story crisp. Great narration and I will be happy if there is another book.

Annabelle Hawthorne and Virgil F.N. Knightly back at it again with all the spicy goodness. If you enjoy games like stardew valley and a healthy combination of humor and spice you’ll love it.

Good Not great,

The performers of course know there business, and they do a great job,

the story was good but i just had some trouble with the mystery box idea, why hold back information once the guy moved to the farm, instead we are drip fed info and details, but thats just a nit pick on my part,

overall good all around looking forward to the next book

if you don't I'm going to be very upset and disappointed.

first of all let me go ahead and get this out of the way. hooray for butt stuff!! second to the narrator how does someone sound so nasally and yet so sexy and the exact same time? it's like Harley Quinn had a head cold while having sex. story had a good pace and was very crawling however I do wish there were more actual sex scenes instead of faint black comments. I don't know if it's Miss Hawthorne or Mr Knightley but finally someone's not afraid to stick it in the rear the descriptive about it. and I love me some good titty sucking!
