The Last Job

Excellent storyline and lots of great twists and turns. It kept my interest and loved the characters interactions.

Hitman with a heart.

Started out slow but gradually turned into 'let me see what is next' moments. Good read, great narration.

Just a good story.

I liked the story overall. It had an unexpected ending. I also liked that it was clean. Not a lot of bad language and inappropriate material.

good plot/terrible narrator

Good story line, some predictability but also some surprises. The narrator was horrible, he should have been doing more of a love story the way that he spoke. He didn't have any excitement in his voice, just rather droning on and on.

Can an assassin retire?

What to do when an assassin begins to feel something about the work he is doing and has done? He begins to question whether it is time to retire. But then he gets one more call. One more job to be his last hurrah. Then to get on with a normal life.

Except the job involves lines that he will not cross, so he turns the job down. Unheard of! There is a price to pay for him having feelings and that price is a contract out on him. He has seen the file on the people to be murdered so he has to go, too.

It's interesting seeing an assassin on the side of the defense, the family that is slated for murder. He knows he cannot let the daughter of the family fall victim to the assassin, but what to do? With his knowledge and training he has a lot to offer, but what is the end game?
