It's not my favorite type of book, but well written and enjoyed.

It's not my favorite type of book, but well written and enjoyed. It's pretty obvious that there will be more books since much is unresolved.

Action

Loved this great action all the way through. characters are great and can relate to.

Good listen

Loved the narration.. kept me interested bummed that it ended and I have to buy the 2nd book. Not long enough to use my credit.
Otherwise I recommend it 👌

The dock was pissing distance from the door

The dock was pissing distance from the door. This, bon mot, comes out of the blue. No reason to be there and bad writing.
His friend leaves him a voice mail message and we get to hear it. A sentence later, he recieves the message and we get to hear it again VERBATIM.
He took his friends car after his friend was told it was tracked by the CIA. His friend doesn't remember or tell him.
There are continuity issues and missing backstory.
It's unresearched and could have benefited from reading other authors in the genre like greaney, hurwitz, or child.
I finished this book just to get it done but the writing is amateur, the reader good.

New to Robert James books…

I liked the book so much…i purchased the 2nd and 3rd to listen to.
