Forced into becoming a better person and finding love

This is a masterful tale of enlightenment and growth sneakily wrapped in a romcom. It is story full of swoons, quirky townspeople, love, absurdity, drama, sweet moments, strong families, dysfunctional families, sexy times, painful pasts, and love. And while the book is funny, it is also a deeply emotional book. At its heart, it’s a story of stunted, damaged and bruised but not broken people who find their way together by owning their choices, recognizing their scars, embracing life, and deciding to be the best version of themselves. It’s a story about the power of choice. Phoebe Lightly is a workaholic socialite with a middle management position in her family’s company whose main goal is to be the CEO one day. She is not a very nice person and her family is all kinds of dysfunctional. When her grandmother, Gigi, the matriarch and tyrant of the family, almost chokes to death, she decides the entire family needs to move to Tickled Pink, a small town in Wisconsin, which is home to a famous movie so that they can become better people and save their souls. Teague Miller is a divorced single dad who lives in a tree house in Tickled Pink, owns goats, sells real estate, fishes, and has secrets. Phoebe’s relationship with Teague starts off with falling in the lake during negotiations so it can only go up from there and up it goes into something much deeper and much more meaningful. The book is well written, has characters with a lot of depth, plenty of witty dialogue, hilarious moments, and an engaging storyline. The book hooks you in from the first word to the last and the transformation of Phoebe will give you all the feels - snort laughing, crying, swooning, gasping, cringing, teeth gritting, and cheering. I have read and loved every one of Pippa Grant’s books but this is my absolute favorite book, one I will read multiple times. I am also super excited to read the next book in this series.

This is a dual narration. Savannah Peachwood makes a perfect strong but vulnerable Phoebe and Sebastian York is fantastic as growly put upon Teague. Their combined talents add a richer dimension to an already phenomenal story.

This one was really cute! Definitely gave me a bit of Schitt’s Creek vibes with the rich family living in a small town.

I loved Phoebe’s growth and the crazy twist I did not see coming! Teague is such a grumpy single dad, you can’t help but love him!

It was a great romcom and the narrators were awesome!

Adorably funny!

Manhattan socialite heiress, Phoebe Lightly, and her parents and siblings, have been blackmailed into occupying and renovating an old high school building. Blackmailed by the family’s matriarch after her near death experience…Estelle Lightly wants her family to each become better ppl. That means that Phoebe, siblings & parents are stuck in a tiny Wisconsin town of Tickled Pink for a year…without WiFi!! The transition is hilarious!! Then their’s the town grump, Teagan, who doesn’t like the newest town residents but is drawn to Phoebe. This story about a socialite finding herself…and the secrets that may tear apart new relationship was enjoyable. Lots of laughs in Tickles Pink!

This was awkward, quirky, and funny, like a weird reality TV show 👐 "Elitists Living in the Sticks" 🤣 I want to live in a tree house...

Too fast

It had a decent plot It seemed like it moved too fast. They had a whole year to be there but everything happened within the 1st month. Get a stretch to doubt where things happen two months at a time . Who tells everybody they have biggest secret within the 1st month of meeting

Love the story. It is funny, sexy, heartwarming book with great characters. Don't miss reading this book.

This was an awesome story! Several twists and turns! Pippa is always great! And Savannah and Sebastian know how to deliver a story!!!! This is definitely worth a credit and listen!!!!

Super Cute

Like most of Pippa Grant’s books, this one is lighthearted and fun. The towns that she creates through her stories, are small town gold. The side characters become as important in the story as the main characters, and they are all quirky and fun in their own way. The main characters in this book both have secrets, and mistakes from their past that they are trying to overcome. Savannah Peachwood was amazing as always bringing these characters to life, and Sebastian York is narration gold!! You will call in love with this spunky little town and all the characters that come along with it.

Get past the first 30% then the story is good!
