I said I enjoyed it, I never said it was good

the story lacked a plot had me bored with the smut scenes. I actually fast forwarded through the smut because it was so redundant. I will be looking forward to the third book in hopes of the actual story continuing

What? What? WHAT?? I absolutely love this series, these characters and this world J.D. has created! I need book 3 immediately!

I devoured this audiobook in one wild, uninterrupted binge. J.D. Linton has ruined me in the most glorious way. This story is addictive, raw, and emotionally loaded—she doesn’t just write; she conjures living, breathing worlds that grab hold of your heart and don’t let go.
And the narrators? Absolutely phenomenal. They didn’t just tell the story—they became it. Their performances were electric, pulling me deeper with every word. The chemistry, the emotion, the tension—they brought Ara and Rogue to life with such intensity, I was completely lost in the world. It felt real.
The spice? Off the charts. The intimacy was so visceral and well-paced, it had me holding my breath. But it wasn’t just steamy—it was emotionally charged. You feel every stolen glance, every aching touch.
The twists? Brutal. The emotional punches? Relentless. The found family in this story has carved itself into my chest, and the pain they carry? It’s now mine. I laughed, I cried, I screamed into the void.
And J.D.—these cliffhangers?? I can’t. With The Last Storm, I had book two ready to go. But now I’m stuck waiting, emotionally shattered, and unsure how I’m supposed to move on with my life.

This story is amazing. I love the twist and turns. I was not expecting the ending. I screamed at the ending. I need the next book now!
