The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

Superbly Fabulous
This audio adds beautifully to Chris Colfer's marvellous work. The performance is captivating and the story alluring. The perfect mix! The story line is so "cliff hagny" it get's under one's skin, yet it only added to my love for the Land of Stories series. Simply wonderful.

I hope you are colfer It’s an idea for your book so I haven’t read your other book yet, but I have read the latest stories, and I thought it would be cool if you somehow made the dimension of the other book collide with the dimension of the land of stories

Ending, again not what I expected.
Left me hanging! Starting the next book. I’ve been hooked but found the beginning slow. It did pick up, I’m feeling confused and ready to keep going with the next book.

Amazing!!!
This audio book is just amazing!!! I am a HUGE fan of this book series,and I was so excited when this one came out! I decided to get the audiobook,and could not stop listening to it!! I can not wait until the fifth book cones out! I highly recommend this book series to kids AND adults who love classic literature and fantasy. You will be blown away!!!

I hate cliff hangers but I love the story.
The story was great. Good job Chris Colfer. It intertwined beautifully with past storys of Alex and Connor. 5 out of 5 for the whole series.
