AN ADRENALINE-CHARGED WILDE & CHASE ADVENTURE FROM THE INTERNATIONAL BESTSELLING AUTHOR

Archaeologist Nina Wilde and her husband, former SAS soldier Eddie Chase, believe their globe-trotting adventures are over - the biggest worry being how their now-adult daughter Macy is going to spend her life.

But after the violent theft of dangerous relics, with the only surviving guard claiming his attackers were "angels", Nina and Eddie are thrust back into action. Without their knowledge, though, Macy is approached by a mysterious group called the Knights of Atlantis - who want to recruit her.

In a deadly race stretching from the glamorous French Riviera to the blistering heat of the Karakum desert, Nina and Eddie must confront mercenaries, secret societies and the machinations of the world's first trillionaire - with the fate of the world in their hands...

Loved It

I'd forgotten just how much I'd loved these two and now Macey is all grown up. Great adventure full of adrenaline and imagination, great storyline. Narration was fantastic. I hope there is another follow on from this to see how Macey grows.

Eddie and Nina a little older but still kicking...

Eddie and Nina are now in their 50's and Macy is an adult. Time to relax right? Umm... maybe not. The Wilde Chase family is not the "quiet life" types, no matter how hard they try to be.

We begin with a raid on a secret IHA storage facility for Atlantean artifacts. The thieves are a pair of, what appear to be, angels! But these angels are not what they seem. We are quickly drawn into an elaborate deception targeting Macy. To go further would entail spoilers.

This book focuses more on Macy than her parents, but they certainly have their share of "Wild Chases". Insane predicaments and impossible escapes are what they do best. From a readers perspective, this book feels a bit like a handing over the reins to a new generation... and potentially a spin-off series. I personally don't want to see Eddie and Nina go. If Indiana Jones can do an action adventure in his 80's, then these two can still have a lot more adventures.

This is my absolute favorite book series and I don't want it to ever end. Please Mr Andy, can we have some more?

What a great book

This book caught me by surprise. Simply speaking from The Hunt for Atlantis till now I love the growth he has given Nina and Eddie giving them a child and now seeing her grown. it's hard not to get in trapped in the story and realizing it is connecting all the others together piece by piece. Can't wait for the next one. The one thing I hate to admit that I didn't catch until recently that every book is a Wilde / Chase ha

Classic Nina and Eddie Story

What I enjoy the most about this series is how great a job the author does is mixing mythology with present day story , as well as all the problems a normal family/couple would have. This story definitely felt like a final tale for Eddie and Nina, but he could easily continue with Macy. My favorite part was how he wrapped up a few unanswered questions. Ones the reader may or may not have thought about right away, like what happened to two relics in two previous stories.

Another great Chase/Wilde adventure

The evolution of these characters just keeps getting better and better with each adventure. Simon Mattacks’ narrative brings each individual character to life with his expertly crafted dialects. An excellent listen! - Vincent Pauletti author of the audiobook The Doomsday Relics: An Omega Sector Thriller

Another Rollicking Wilde Chase!

Another Wilde Chase, only this time there is also a passing of the torch (staff?) from one generation to the next. Mr. McDermott has gifted us once again with quite a globe trotting thrill ride, building upon his self-created Atlantis mythology, allusions to current events and headline grabbing personalities, family bonding, and a general sense of fun. I must admit that through all 17(?!?!) novels in this series and with the help of the audible voice actors I see this whole series as a cracking future film franchise for Jason Statham! For that matter, Mr. Statham might be even more tempted to film another ongoing set of Mr. McDermott’s novels regarding a former assassin owing to the lower special effects budgets… I look forward to more strong stories of action and adventure from the pen (or laptop) of Mr. McDermott!!!
