Loved!

I loved this book! It’s my second MC book and my third military romance, and it was by far the best! I loved the attention to detail Navessa Allen gave to the military background and how it’s difficult for some to adjust back to civilian life. I also loved that she makes FMC not scaredy cats when finding out the truth and running at the first sign of conflict. I would say the only thing that made me eh about the book was the ending. I wish there was more to it but it was still a great way to end it!

I can’t remember the last time I wasn’t bored during a steamy book. This one was amazing! I can’t wait for their story to continue!

Dominance

This book kind of holds true to the MC world of male dominance. All of the male leads are alpha characters that want to shelter the female lead, not taking into account that her military experience makes her just as capable.

I will read a Navessa Allen books all day long. She is so talented, not as much hot action as Lights Out but still great and great plot.

Narration 10/10. Absolutely loved Andi and JF Harding.
Storyline- 8/10 I enjoyed the story immensely. There were a few times where I wanted more out of a scene or more history on a character like her best friend or more about the MMC’s parents story but that’s just me. Overall extremely well written as usual.
I need another book asap!

Easy to listen to voices

The duet narration was exceptional. Both narrators possessed voices that were incredibly pleasant to listen to. They effortlessly brought the characters to life. Additionally, the audio quality was impressive.
