Since its first publication in 1611, the King James Version of the Bible, with its flowing language and prose rhythm, has had a profound influence on the literature of the past 400 years and is the greatest English translation ever produced.

English speakers around the world are acclaiming this recent recording by British narrator Christopher Glyn, whose talented voice and knowledge of the text makes for a rich listening experience, capturing the beauty and power of God's word and making the King James English clear and easy for a modern audience to understand.

Why does this "complete Old Testament" end with Isaiah? I thought I was buying the entire KJV version of the OT but it abruptly ends at Isaiah. Does anyone know why the remaining Books are missing and has anyone had this same problem? Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the narration. A perfect voice for this historic version. Dramatic realism without the soap opera tone that some narrators take on. I also downloaded the New Testament by this narrator and am excited to begin listening. However, I really wanted to complete the OT first...but because Audible left them out I will need to download them elsewhere, as I prefer to listen rather than read (dry eye). So...I hope to find them! In summary, I recommend this version because of the narrator.

Why Isaiah is Last Book???

The numbering of the chapters on the audio file have no corresponding biblical books. That makes it impossible to find your way through.

Lack of biblical book names in file

didn't realize there is no book of revelation in the old testament, funny how it's added later for the new testament....

Not only are there no headers for what book you’re in, so you can’t find your way around, this isn’t even a complete recording of the Bible. It ends at Isaiah chapter one.

Incomplete
