Good wholesome romance

This was a sweet wholesome romance about two young people who fall in love and find their way back to other later in life. The narrator did a good job with the southern accents. I liked her voice. Overall I found this audiobook to be very enjoyable.

A Beautiful Story

I listened to this story in one day. I just had to know the ending of this love story. A plus for me were the descriptions of the beauty of Douglas Lake and Douglas Dam in the shadows of the Great Smoky Mountains, my area of Tennessee. Highly recommend, especially for those who loved “The Notebook”.

The love and connection between Jack and Ellie was magical.

I normally gravitate towards stories narrated by more than one voice but this single narrator nailed it. The storyline was interesting and kept me engaged. An enjoyable listen.

The narrator didn’t enunciate d’s before n’s. She did a great job, but it was distracting. Didn’t became dinnent wouldn’t become wonnent . That is the only constructive criticism I’d give, otherwise, great story, great narrator .

Great story and Great characters. Tugs on your heart strings and makes you feel like you are there. Definitely recommend this book.

The audible version of this novel was well done. The narration made the story engaging. The story itself was a love story that stood the test of time.

I loved this book so much.
I was an emotional mess, but loved it. The Narrator was wonderful also.

From start to finish this book held my interest. Always hoping for their reunion. Enjoy this book immensely have had it for two days and have listened to it twice already. It is a masterpiece one that I listen to many times I’m sure.
