Good book

Caught my attention early on! Love the main two characters! Good summertime ( or any season) book!

Just enough details.

This read was quick and fun
the elements of foreshadowing kept you guessing and inferring. The author was still able to catch me off guard with some surprises.

Great ending! Love is love 🤩🌈🤩

Seems like this really could’ve happened and I love reading about strong women ahead of their time.

Loved this book and can’t wait to read more of her titles. If you love great characters, you’ll love this.

Unnecessary pauses???

Enjoyed the story, but there were weird pauses all throughout the reading…so distracting!!! Didn’t love the narrator’s adult male voices

What a great book and narration one of the best!

First thing I have to say about this audio book is that the narrator was wonderful. Second thing is I do so hope there is a sequel - heck - even a prequel to explore Ada's back story.
What a great, enjoyable book! Funny, witty, heartfelt. Everything good!
The Jersey shore in the 60's, how I wish I had not been so young at that time because all I remember about the place and time is playing in the sand and water. A great coming of age book for young women in the 60's.
All the characters were likable - even Ada, once you get to know her. Her and Marilyn's relationship is one to be jealous of.
Without spoiling anything one part of the story was predictable, IMO, and was no big surprise. The other part was surprising but, I want to know more! And that is why I really hope there is a sequel.
If you want a book that is thoroughly enjoyable, with not a lot a drama, this is it.
And I highly recommend the audio version. There will be no better way to get the wit and sarcasm, and love, in the conversations than through the wonderful narration.
One of the best, most enjoyable reads of the year. Off to find more of her books.
